Manufacturing Facility

Overview

The SunTree plant is a state of the art processing facility. We have 80,000 sq ft on 16 acres of property. Our 20,000 sq ft fully racked refrigerated cold storage ensures proper storage for over 2 million pounds of product.

We have a quality control department to ensure specifications are met on all orders. Our plant has a HACCP plan in place, a kosher program (OU), an organic program (QAI) and we have continuous third party inspections by both Silliker Labs and The American Institute Of Baking (who awarded us a superior rating!)

Our Equipment includes:

  • Spray Dynamics Seasoning drums (for value added flavo- red products)

  • Automated retail packaging equipment that can pack up to 4 truckloads a day (both cello or resealable zipper bags)

Processing Services

Overview

Our processing capabilities include oil roasting, dry roasting, seasoning, flavoring, dicing, re-cleaning, vacuum packing and nitrogen flushing. Emphasizing our one stop shopping, SunTree handles over 80 different nuts, seeds, and dried fruits. We are organic and kosher certified. As well as selling finished products (both bulk and retail pack) we also do custom processing and private label packaging.

All orders are custom processed to ensure freshness and shelf life.

Our Packaging includes:

  • 25 Lb Bulk (vacuum packed and nitrogen flushed)
  • 20 Lb disposable bulk display case
  • 5 Lb repacked boxes (for food service industry)
  • Cello Packing (2 oz. to 2 Lbs) with preprinted bag or stick on label
  • Resealable zipper bags (lay-down or stand-up, 8-32 oz.). Preprinted or stick on label. Foil or polypropylene.
  • Tubs (4-24 oz.)
  • PET Jars (16-32 oz.)
  • Gift packaging:
  • 23 oz. Wood crate with 3 bags of nuts
  • 3 Holiday gift trays (11-29 oz.)
  • Holiday gift box with 3 1-ppound PET jars
